Microneedling + PRP

Microneedling + PRP by The Vitamin Bar in Park City, UT

Microneedling + PRP

Micro-needling is a minimally invasive process in which small needles are used to create micro fractures in the skin. These small fractures or channels activate the natural healing process, promoting blood flow and collagen synthesis. This process can be used in conjunction with PRP (Platelet rich plasma), which is acquired through a simple blood draw. After an adequate amount of blood is taken, the blood is placed into a device called a centrifuge. The centrifuge spins the tube to separate the PRP from other blood products. The PRP is then used in conjunction with the micro-needling process.

Once the small fracture channel has been created by the micro-needling pen, the PRP is applied topically to enhance healing, improve elasticity, slow signs of aging, reverse wrinkles, sun damage, and scarring. This process is leading the industry in regenerative aesthetics.
